a nest in a nest

I am a little bit lazy lately, sit on our balcony with my binocs . So much birds ! So much nest! So much insects, here comparing with Holland, is a good breeding season. Unfortunately in Holland it is too cold and wet , a lot of nests are not succesful. Here nooo problem.
I have an Montezuma Oropendula nest on our Balcony, decoration, but this thick billed Euphonia loves it , they did built a nest in this nest , so cute! I have to keep a distance , so I zoomed in  big time...

Dutch trip 25th April/ 8th May 2013 first story

Unfortunately I did not have too much time to check out the birds.... what is clear...everything is later. The migration birds are back, but later then normal and in some areas comparing with former years, Lapwings are less. Sunday I will go on a bird excursion in an area in the north of Holland, I am curious what we will see.
In the dunes  the common Nightingales are singing , a real treat. Hope I can make a nice bird list the next coming days... and maybe some nice pictures....
Here a picture of a Fitis (Phylloscopus trochilus)
