bird trip..last week a lifer

Couple of days ago, 1 of August 2013 we did visit friends in Las Lajas, was not really a birding trip , but I did see a lifer... I don't go a lot to the Pacific shore. I love to go back soon and see the birds..really  nice there.

And my lifer...was far away, fortunately I had my binocs, Wilson's Plover

Beautiful River delta , have to go back!!!
Today a slow day with the birds,  did start with cloudy and  had to escape for the rain. Did manage to find a dry spot. The birds were hiding , as they suppose to do in this time of year.
Did see some though and did see the sun.
