They have a lot of energy and so a lot of activity around us. Yesterday I did go together with my dog birding on our other farm (1200 m), it was fantastic. Great weather, although around 9.30am it was getting warm and the birds(and me) did slow down... For me that was time to have coffee at home.
I took the time also to take some pictures...

Then today , two English "new" birdwatchers...after today I think they are totally infected with the birdwatchers virus.
First we checked the American Dipper pair, they were still busy building their nest, it's almost ready!
(See my post on 16th of February 2017)
Then in the cloud forest around 1850 m, we did start with a nice female three wattled Bellbird and then it went on and on and on...
The great part was that they did not have a clue what to expect and so I had to show them the Quetzal in the book after hearing a Quetzal in flight. What is a Quetzal...lovely!
This is a Quetzal, her first view through the spotting scope... her comment...I never did see such a beautiful bird in my life....

But both birdwatchers (and me) were also crazy of these cute pair of Elegant Euphonia's, busy collecting nest material...
And the great emerald Toucanets were showing off...
And so another day flew as a bird through my fingers...
Greetings Terry (and down below the lists)
