3th of April to 11th of April 2016 suddenly in between the Dutch birds

Unfortunately I had to go suddenly to Holland. My Dad passed away..what a horrible and sad experience.
In between all the sad activities, I did go out to see some Dutch birds and yes they do cheer me up...
Of course like in Boquete (Panama) the birds are migrating , coming through and are coming back, singing, nesting.
The day that I arrived, I did go with my brother in law to see the Spoonbills.(Lepelaars)
It was a very beautiful evening and my brother in law knew that I would enjoy that very much and it did push away a little bit the sad unreal feelings...
As you see on the pictures, you understand...this was the best therapy that I could have..(although being with my family was nice too...sorry guys xx)

I have the idea that the colony grows each year and the special part is , it is a mixed colony with great blue Herons along the highway, but on the other side a nice area with river, trees, meadows.

When there was a little bit time I did go on the bike or just have a little walk behind the house of my sister.
There is at this moment a spot where a Coot(Meerkoet),great horned Grebe (Fuut) and a pair of Mute Swans (Knobbelzwanen) have their nests...very special. Also it is very close to a big area where people live, dogs run around..amazing how birds can adjust  .
Very nice was also the people who stopped and did take pictures and were chatting about  this event.
I did have nice conversations.
I did notice a black Crow(zwarte kraai) and later a Jackdaw (Kauw) with white feathers. I do see that more and more .(Leucism)

Friday 8th of April I did go on my bike to the Kennemer duinen. In this time of year the leaves are not on the trees yet, some trees and bushes  did have a little bit. But that means that bird watching is much easier and of course the birds are making much more sounds.

I did start with cloudy weather and after a few hours  the sun came through the clouds and the birds started to be even more active. I was standing in an area where last year people from the national park changed the area into the Dunes of the early days...means some swampy areas, brushes with sand areas and small lakes...well it works...I did see in total 9 Bluethroats (Blauwborsten) doing their song  and displays (balts) and many many other birds.Maybe some of them were still migrating , but I did have the feeling that they were very happy there.

The only migrant that I was hoping to see was the Nightingale, but they were not back yet. These migrant birds were back. Northern Wheatear (Tapuit)...much more then last year. They make their nest in Rabbit holes...I did see more Rabbits then last year.(yeah!)
Stonechat (Roodborsttapuit)
Blackcap (Zwartkop) and Common Redstart (gekraagde Roodstaart) .
And of course the "Dutch" birds... (see also my list down below)
Hedge accentor (Heggemus), a very nice display (balts)

 Woodlark (Boomleeuwerik) singing his song:
And around  one of the new small lake a nice little ringed Plover (kleine Plevier)
I was happy  to meet some other bird watchers, they also confirmed that it was the little ringed Plover.
A small yellow eye ring ..beautiful...it was too far away to get it in the picture.(You can click on pictures to see the bird "bigger")
And I did see a lot of Goldcrest (Goudhaan):
On my last day in Holland I did see the first Sedge Warblers (Rietzangers)...migrants, nearby my sisters house in Velserbroek.
