Migration time...my best picture so far of a migration bird

 13th of October 2020

October is bird migration time... my days are too short, every morning I am awake at 5.45ish , 6am it is getting light and have my breakfast on the balcony. Calls of migration birds...I love it and also "our" birds are pretty active because of all the travelers around them... they are defending their area.

I try to take pictures, but because I am so busy with ID's, I am most of the time too late to get a good picture. This Swainson's Thrush was probably so tired after  a night flying, that I finally got a nice picture of this nice bird. My lists of the birds are on E-bird.

I did got some e mails with questions...how everything is going... looking to Covid virus situation. Well we are okay, stay in our bubble and doing jobs in the farm and around the cottages and house. Panama is opening a bit, but they are careful, what is for many people hard ...but in this country health of the people is number 1... which  is a good thing. So plenty of time to watch birds and that is a good way to relax .

Hope that all of my blog readers stay healthy and safe! And here is my "winner picture"!
