This is the time that the immatures are flying out , when they are lucky... and hope that they will survive Everyday I hear at least 10 times horror sounds, upset birds ...good opportunity also to see a lot of different species of birds together in one time, just point to the area where the danger is and check it out. Birds they are suddenly united and will try to get rid of the predator. Yesterday a roadside Hawk was at a nest of Orange billed Nightingale Trush. He flew out with nothing, because all the birds were chasing him...with success. This morning...no success. In not even 10 seconds he went in the brush and took an immature orange billed Nightingale Thrush.... no chance in hell the brother and sisterhood birds could avoid this smart Hawk to grab that little one out of the nest..
Poor parents... they have to make new baby's even on a more secret place...I took a picture of the poor parent.
And the unfortunate baby bird in the claw of the roadside Hawk, I found them in the meadow... the Hawk has probably also baby's to feed...and maybe that baby will fall in the claws of the new bird on our farm...the great black Hawk.. ah well, that is how it is....and goes...
