9th of May 2015 global big day on Finca Batipa and Boquete

Today we head to Batipa on the  Pacific coast...with 6 other birders. The owner of the farm Batipa , Mr Rios was joining us . Third time I was on the farm... last time was in March 2006..time flies.
I did see a lot of yellow billed Cotinga's at that time , but not today...but the black hooded Antshrike was a lifer for me.
It was a hot day, bright sun and around 10 am it started to slow down.
Believe me , even the Panamanian birders were sweating!

very early the blue hooded Parrots, brushing up their feathers, ready for the big day...
