14th of June 2015...
the morning started cloudy... nice , not too hot , no rain... perfect for this Dutch girls, just a week back from chilly Holland vacation.
Good to be surrounded again by the Panama birds, although it was also great to be surrounded by the Dutch birds of course...

I decided to visit our other farm today, was a good choice, not even 10 minutes ride.

A lot of immatures now...but still birds making nests and singing a lot.

birds in Holland..11th of May until 31th of May 2015

What a great time we had in Holland. Bird wise but also other fun things.
We did act as tourists in our own country and of course always the binoculars ready...
A big difference with former years ...on almost every spot that I did go birding, I did see the Kingfishers (IJsvogels)..
Also the Bluethroat(Blauwborst) I did see  more ...on different spots.
In general I think I did see less Grutto's then the years before
Of course I did go to my favorite spots in Holland...  Landje van Gruijters... http://vogelkijkhut.nl/view/385/
And we stayed in an apartment  for in total 12 days nearby Kennemer Dunes... https://www.natuurmonumenten.nl/natuurgebied/nationaal-park-zuid-kennemerland/duin-en-kruidberg
Almost every morning I was on my bicycle, around 6am and even in Holland you will not see too much people there in such early hours...only the birds, deers...fox... and because we were in the busy area( west of Holland)...an airplane so once in a while .

When I did go alone ..I did some serious bird watching...the rest of the vacation was just birds passing  by and checking them out, the eyes and ears are always open.
I will add a birdlist what I did see in the Kennemer Dunes in the days that I did go there and landje van Gruijters.
And a list from the other birds that I did see in the rest of the country.
First 16th and 17th of May...landje van Gruijters ... 16th in the evening and 17th in the early morning... For the English names...I did download my lists from Holland also on E-bird.
