I will add a picture of this late afternoon and this afternoon...first rain... I was just sitting in our garden dry with my Binocs and books and again I did see the ruddy tailed Flycatcher in the garden the last time was 2th of October 2002!! that I did see this bird on our farm, We are much too high up in the mountains(1250m) for this bird, (according bird books) , but it was a happy bird and the second time this week that I did see him..the first time I was not sure.
A red legged Honeycreeper immature..hiding for the rain..
She almost looks moody...

And then after the rain...a beautiful sun came out(around 6pm) shining over the coffee.

loads of migrants! coming through and arriving.. tree full with Resplendent Quetzales and three wattled Bellbirds...great morning!

This morning I was ready to go to the cloud forest and check out the birds. I was there yesterday with my friend and did see several three wattled Bellbirds, they stay always longer in this part of Boquete then higher up on the Quetzal trail. This is a different micro climate and so the fruit is on different times ready. This year the Bell birds do stay longer then I ever saw...but there is so much fruit this year, incredible. And also the areas where they migrate to (Bocas) in the non breeding season, there was very much  rain and here in Boquete pretty dry.
This week the wet season starts finally in our area and so at 11am the clouds are coming in (picture)
and we get finally the thunderstorms..before that will happen , we have nice fresh sunny mornings , love it!!! Also a whole bunch of immature and adult Quetzales together with the Bellbirds , by the way I did see a lot of immature Bellbirds
Yesterday I did see again a Canada Warbler on our farm...a new bird on our farm! Today again 1 Canada Warbler and very nicely a big group of black burnian Warblers together..the first this season. I counted 15! Never did see that before..so much black burnian Warblers together..
