Tennessee Warbler song 11 March 2018 in Boquete Panama and more pictures and story

Hello everybody, yes it is March...I did survive busy February! looking back to a great birding month. I did go a few times alone and quite a bit with birders out of the States, Canada, Sweden, Denmark, Holland, Panama, France, Germany, Portugal.
On the last day of February, I was with birders from France, what a great trip. I never forget anymore , when they did see 2 female tiny scintillant Hummingbirds(6.5 to 8 cm, 2.6 to 3.1 in) fighting with each other in front of our faces. They look to eachother with faces of unbelieve and surprise...and said to each other ...NO WAY this is a lie! :)
I know...it is almost not real to see those tiny Hummers... every time it is a miracle!!!
Here some pictures from February until now (you can click on the picture to enlarge)... I cannot believe that time flies so fast!!!

I am still thinking back with a smile of our day on the Volcano with the Audubon group late January, as the day of yesterday. I got this nice picture of  W. Adsett...thanks !

And so March is rolling and more trips and birds to come. Enjoying the migrating birds...I am waiting for the big groups of Hawks flying over. 

So this afternoon a singing Tennessee Warbler male , see video in this blog. So exciting! 

First time for me to hear a Tennessee Warbler singing in the 20 years we lived here. 

I did hear also 2 weeks ago already a black and white Warbler singing  and a American Redstart, that is a kind of normal to hear them in this time of year.

The chestnut sided Warblers males are changing their plumage, love to see that. And like to see the faces of some American birders when they don't recognize their own birds. They look a kind of weird with their not complete Summer plumage... 

Down below our balcony list of this afternoon, wine and birds and some clouds came in , so we were hoping for some rain...but no did not happen...
