Bird tripssss

Busy times in bird paradise. Immigration is really going on...sky full of Hawks, loads of Warblers and Vireos in full plumage, the Swainson's Thrushes are everywhere, eating themselves full with berries and of course our"own" birds are maiding , breeding , singing and have nest of baby's.
A lot of Hummingbirds are making the third nest with baby's.
The snowy bellied Hummingbird and the long billed  Starthroat are re using the same nest over and over.
A nice blue throated Toucanet has baby's in  a dead tree trunk, I made a video and a picture.
The video look at... http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?v=256998717724184&set=vb.100002421723341&type=2&theater
And I did see a juvenil male three wattled Bellbird....his voice has a little pinch, look still like a girl, his hormones are crazy and his wattles are short...poor guy. He has a berry tree for himself, that is nice...but he is not in the group.
He is sitting in the center of the picture.
The Hawk migration started around 19th of March and the Swainson's Thrushes they came in a day later in big amounts.
Well I had a bunch of half a day birding trips...here some results, to get an idea....

Hola Terry: Thanks for the bird list and thanks so much for everything else...we had a great time with you. We went back to the last spot visited with you and hiked a big loop through Bajo, Centro and Alto Jaramillo. It was good to go back over the birds we saw with you and get comfortable with knowing them. We saw an additional 30-40 species that day to include good looks at a Bat Falcon.
Today we had an absolutely wonderful day hiking the Pipa del Aquas Trail and up to another cascada (Mystery Falls) and walking to Finca Lerida. On Pipas we saw 4 Quetzals (3 males, 1 female).....with great close up looks at 2 males!!! We also heard 3 others we couldn't see. Also saw a pile of other birds (30-40 species new for the trip). Finca Lerida was beautiful too!!!! Birding in the forest was great, but I also enjoyed birding in the disturbed/agricultural areas, finding a variety of new things. You live in a beautiful part of the world! Thanks so much for sharing some of it with us. Also please say hello to the 4 birders from Minnesota and Canada that are with you. Hope they have a safe trip home. We are off to Bocas tomorrow for another adventure. Best wishes......Tom and Clare
