Today I was together on a trip with Jay, he never went bird watching and it went great. The first spot was open terrain and quit a bit of birds , then we moved to the cloud forest, there the patience was needed and fortunately that was not a problem...
Not too much birds in the forest, but the sun came out beautiful and we did see a American Dipper busy feeding her 2 baby's. She was really totally busy dipping and feeding, always really nice to see.
On the first spot there was a blue and black Grassquit jumping up and down. His hormones.... But he had two white spots on both his wing tips, never saw that before, I will find out.
