birds on 20th of October 2012

Today it was a trip with two lifers for me!!!
a beautiful immature Towsend's Warbler (vagrant and pretty early in the season, according the book a few times recorded around half  Nov. to early April)  and a yellow bellied Flycatcher!! This is always a time of surprises, fantastic. Just some info where the Towsend's Warbler is coming from....
A bird of the Pacific Northwest, the Townsend's Warbler nests in coniferous forests from Alaska to Oregon. It winters in two distinct areas: in a narrow strip along the Pacific Coast, and in Mexico and Central America.
