summer weather high in the mountains..Quetzal trail 8th of December and birding trip on the 9th of December 2014

Well on the 8th of December we did have nice rainbows...that means , norther wind ...dry and sunny on our farm...but high in the mountains drizzel rain and wind.. I picked up my husband and two guest  in the afternoon at Respingo ranger station ( Quetzal trail)...of course I did have my binoculars with me, because I did wait 2 hours for them , what I don't mind...
It was cold and wet... but still I did see...large footed Finches(beautiful song), lot of sooty capped bush Tanagers, slaty Flowerpiercers, Volcano Hummingbird, black capped Flycatcher(picture), big groups of white banded Pigeons, Chiriqui Quail Dove, Wilson's Warbler, black and white Warbler, Philadelphia Vireo, black throated green Warbler, green violet Ear, magnificent Hummingbird.
And a couple of happy...wet people...

Anyway today I did go for a birding trip, for our guests the first time ever that they see birds through Binoculars...so in the beginning it was learning...but it went well.
