Still some migration birds on the farm 1th of May 2016

It's been a while that I did write a post...does not mean I don't watch the birds....as a matter of fact everyday I have my binoculars ready. There is a lot happening around us .
The rain did start finally! In 3 days with some big rain showers everything is green. The amount of berries/fruits is fantastic this year. So much birds do take advantage of that. Never did see around me so much Swainson's Thrushes, on the farm and  lower and higher land.
Today it was finally slower with these Thrushes, I think it is in a few days done with their nice soft songs and "wwwiet wwiet" around us.I will miss it.
2 Days ago I still did see some broad winged Hawks in between a group of  Turkey Vultures...that is a late migration!
Then today still the nice Scarlet Tanagers on the farm and yesterday late afternoon , still 2 male black burnian Warblers.
"Our birds" are of course busy with singing, fighting, displaying, courtship and already I did see the first baby blue gray Tanagers 6 days ago.
In front of our office window is rufous and white Wren building a nest, above them in the tree a nest of a yellow green Vireo and very bad behaviour..a blue gray Tanager , House Wren, buff throated Saltator, clay colored Thrush, thick billed Euphonia  are stealing nest material from the nest of the rufous and white Wren. Poor Wren!

And so , as you read, a lot of entertainment around us.
I did go out with and without other birders on nice trips.
Here some pictures:
white throated Mountain Gem in Jaramillo Arriba Boquete :

Of course I down load my lists on http://ebird.org/ebird/subnational1/PA-4?yr=all&m=&rank=mrec
But down below I will add my lists from today from our farm and 26th of April Caldera.
Since 2 days we have our slower time(business wise), so more time to see the birds and to paint them...
This is a charming Hummingbird, fun to do!

More lists to come!!!
