13th of August 2015, day off, nice hike, nice birds

Hans and I were invited by a friend to go to the top of one of the mountains on his farm. He has a need little car to drive up for a bit and the plan was to hike to the top and walk down..without the sound of the little car.
Pretty high up until around the 3000 meters high.
Beautiful area... we love it.
I think I did see a Vulcano Junco, but he flew in behind my back , when I looked behind me , he flew...not enough sight to see if he really was there, but the shape  was correct.
Some birds.. good view on the Adult Ornate Hawk Eagle..in real life not on the picture.
She or he had a prey and the immature was also asking , it was a great show...
Here the Immature ornate Hawk Eagle:
collared Trogon Female
                                                              collared Trogon Male
Fiery throated Hummingbird
short billed Pigeon
beautiful nature
on the top of the mountain we did see the top of Volcan Baru , very cool!
