another poem today 12th of May 2011 from David the birdwatcher

    I BILL,  HAI KU

When the wind calls in
The redwoods, the trees
Dance without moving their feet

When the dew pools on

The redwoods, the drops
Fall without making a sound

When the birds perch in
The redwoods, the branch
Screens without moving around

When the fog rolls in

The redwoods, the sound
Damps without missing a beat           David E
