some bird trips in July/August 2011

 

Suddenly I was quite busy in July with bird trips. My experience is that birding in the months July August is a little bit slow(yes I am spoilt)...the birds have still baby's, they hide, they are silent....but still I had some good birding mornings, with great weather. Wanted to go a few days to Caldera and even more lower land , but it it was a lot of mornings very cloudy.
In this time of year, we have most of the time great sunny wheater higher up in the mountains...above the clouds!!! Great to have so much micro climats.
All the days it was even HOT in the cloud forest...blue skies and no clouds and the birds were even more silent very quickly, like around 10am
